Colorado Bright BeginningsBaby Bear Hugs provides universal parent-to-parent support and education in 9 counties located in Eastern Colorado. One of the 5 components of Baby Bear Hugs is Colorado Bright Beginnings. Bright Beginnings includes 3 types of contacts with the families, Program A, Program B and Program C. Bright Beginnings' VisionOur vision is every child in Colorado will be healthy, valued, and ready to learn.Bright Beginnings' MissionOur mission is to provide a bright beginning for all Colorado children by helping families support their children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development during the critical first three years of life.Bright Beginnings' FoundingIn 1995, former Chairman of Procter & Gamble Brad Butler and former Colorado Governor Roy Romer started our organization in an effort to make "Colorado the best place to raise a child." Since then, Colorado Bright Beginnings has provided free of charge support and early education information to over 100,000 families.
Colorado Bright Beginnings Program A is for parents of children prenatal to 12 months of age and focuses on celebrating the birth of new babies and providing families with information, connection to community resources and support to give their children the best possible start in life. Research shows that nurturing and stimulating interactions between infants and their parents provide a foundation for children to lead fuller, more successful lives.The visit promotes and emphasizes:

Colorado Bright Beginnings Program B is for parents of children 12 to 24 months of age and focuses on helping parents promote and encourage language development, which has been shown through research to have a significant link to school readiness and learning success later in life. The program was designed to help parents provide an enriched, supportive environment that promotes early literacy and teaches caregivers how they can become an encouraging partner in the language dance with their child.The visit promotes and emphasizes:
